Frequently asked questions

Is my data used to train AI models?

AI Operator: No. The AI Operator runs on models hosted by Fireworks AI, which doesn't use your data for training and doesn't log or store your prompts or the AI's responses. Prompts may be cached briefly in memory, for a few minutes, to speed up responses. Your AI Operator conversations are stored in your Telerivet account, like the rest of your data.

Your own AI tools: When you connect an AI tool such as ChatGPT or Claude, the Telerivet data it reads is handled under that AI provider's policies, including whether it may be used for training. Check your provider's data and privacy settings.

Can AI send messages without my approval?

AI Operator: No. The AI Operator always asks for your approval before sending messages, triggering services, or deleting data, and each approval covers one exact request.

Your own AI tools: Not by default. Sending messages, triggering services, and deleting data require approval unless an organization administrator chooses to allow them.

Either way, your project's Message Review rules still apply.

What can the AI access?

Only what your own Telerivet user account can access. Administrators can restrict which permissions the AI can use, choose which users can use the AI Operator, and must approve each external AI tool before anyone in the organization can connect it. Access can be revoked at any time.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Describe what you want in plain language. The AI can even write Cloud Script code for you, so anyone can build advanced custom automations.

Which AI tools can I connect?

ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, and any other AI tool that supports MCP. Telerivet is available in the ChatGPT app directory and listed in the official MCP Registry. See setup instructions »

How much does it cost?

Can I turn the AI Operator off?

Yes. Organization administrators can disable it for everyone, or limit which users can use it.
